Why use carbon steel rather than stainless?

Carbon takes an exceptionally keen edge, sharpens easily and develops character with use, It requires a little more care than stainless, but i believe the performance is worth it.

Do you make every knife yourself?

Yes, every Creedon Edge Works knife is handcrafted by me in my shop here in Michigan, one at a time. No shortcuts.

Can I request a specific handle material?

Absolutely. If I have it in the shop or can get it easily, I’ll gladly build your knife with the handle material of your choice.

Do you make custom knives?

Yes, I can work with you on blade style, handle material and finish to build a knife that fits what you’re looking for. Here’s my interpretation of a Filipino bolo I’m working on for a customer.
